Trip to Taxisco - September 9, 2023 We headed out early on a Saturday afternoon to get to Taxisco in time for a 4:00 p.m. Branch activity. A trip that normally takes us 2 hours, took 5 and we missed the activity (even though we had our assigned meal contribution with us). One side of the freeway was closed for construction and an accident occured in the other.  Here are pictures of vehicles stopped in front of us and in back of us for over an hour. In the US, the Highway Patrol does everything they can to keep traffic moving safely around an accident. That doesn´t seem to be the focus here.  The next day, we approached the church building but the street had been cordoned off.  A building across the street from the chapel must get used for funeral viewings on occasion. They obviously could not get all the people wanting pay respects into their building, so they just cordoned off the street and set up chairs in the street. This street normally gets a lot of activity on Sundays but people
